Here's what we were working with - a flagstone-style paver walkway running alongside a pool area that had clearly seen better days. Grime, discoloration, and years of buildup had dulled the surface down to a flat, washed-out gray. The pavers themselves were in good shape structurally, they just looked tired.
That kind of buildup happens gradually. You stop noticing it until you see a side-by-side comparison. Then it's hard to unsee.
What we ended up with is a completely different surface. The warm, golden tones of the pavers came back strong once the grime was cleared out. The grout lines are sharp and defined again. It looks the way it probably did when it was first installed.
That's really what good paver cleaning does - it doesn't change your surface, it uncovers it. There's no repainting or resurfacing happening here. Just proper technique, the right pressure, and attention to every inch of the walkway without blasting out the joints or damaging the finish.
If you've got a patio, walkway, or pool deck that's looking dull, there's a good chance it just needs a thorough cleaning. We work with pavers and concrete surfaces all the time, and results like this are pretty standard when the job is done right.
