Why Life Time REd Bank - Middletown is important to us at Stainless Powerwashing
In January and February, when the temperatures average between 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit, the cold temperatures slow down our pressure washing services. During this time, we actively improve our processes and behind the scenes business efforts for the upcoming March - December season. Outside working hours, you will NOT find Stainless Powerwashing founders Ken and Matt Sulfaro (me) at a bar. If we are not working, we can be found on the pickleball courts at Life Time in Red Bank, NJ.
On February 23rd, 2025, Ken and Matt partnered up in our first ever formal pickleball tournament, which was put on by the good people at Life Time Red Bank Middletown Pickleball. We won all 5 of 5 regular games, gaining a spot in the playoffs. In the Quarterfinals, we “Pickled” our opponents, which means that we won in a shutout, with a score of 11-0. We also took the semi-finals in a good battle against a fierce opponent, winning 11-4.
The Championship round was an unforgettable battle that we ultimately ended up losing, at a score of 15-12. (Due to tournament rules, the championship game at Life Time pickleball tournaments is first to 15 points, rather than the usual 11, still win-by-two.) Ken and Matt walked away with our heads held high with the Silver medal. Although we would have loved to take the gold (obviously), winning the silver medal was still a great experience.
